Graduation of our 10-Days Basic Welding Training for young adults parents of children with disabilities.
Thank you to Sir Eduardo Cansino, the Head Instructor of our Welding Training,
for intensively teaching and mentoring these men and woman.
We would also like to thank Councilor Lester Baes and Jedi Presnedi for attending our Graduation and supporting our programs for parents of children with disabilities.

Ella Mae Cada is a 23 year old mother of John Lorenz who has congenital heart disease, hence, he has discolored nails, lips and tongue. he can not play with other children and should not be allowed to get tired.
When Ella Mae read in their group chat among parents of (CWD) Children with disabilities that there is Metal Fabrication workshop in Birthright she immediately registered as her husband lost his job due to Bureau of Correction policy to stop burial in their cemetery. Her husband is a gravedigger. She is looking for a way to earn a living and she is willing to learn metal fabrication by Mig mag welding so she can be employed one day. She only
graduated in Junior high school and has no employable skill.
In Metal Fab workshop, Ella proved to be good in doing mig mag welding. The instructor said she has good pulse in welding. She is not afraid to do the projects assigned during the workshop and tries everything so she could develop her skill in welding. Ella Mae will work with Birthright in our small start up Metal Fab project next year.
She wants to have her child operated so he could have a proper working heart.

First session topics were; identification of parts of welding assembly, welding processes, history of Welding, safety practices and protecting the eyes.
